Pursuant to Art. 13 GDPR
The Basilavecchia Law Firm, located at Viale Regina Elena no. 78, 65123, Pescara, hereinafter the “Firm” or the “Controller”, protects your right to the protection of personal data and ensures compliance with the applicable regulations on the matter, with particular reference to Regulation (EU) no. 2016/679 (hereinafter, the “Regulation” or “GDPR”), the Italian implementing legislation, and the fundamental principles contained therein.
In particular, with this document the Data Controller intends to provide you with information regarding the processing of your personal data, in accordance with the principles of fairness and transparency set out in the GDPR.
The website https://basilavecchia.it (hereinafter, the “Site”) may contain additional information relating to other services provided by the Data Controller and/or relating to the use and navigation of the Site itself.

1. Data Controller
The data controller, that is, the entity that determines the purposes and means of processing your personal data, is Studio Legale Basilavecchia, located at Via.le Regina Elena n. 78, 65123, Pescara. For any information regarding the processing described in this notice, you may contact the Firm at any time at the e-mail address studio@basilavecchia.it.
2. Purpose of processing
Your personal data is processed by the Data Controller to the extent necessary for the pursuit of the purposes indicated below:
a) Aggregate statistics – Art. 6 par. 1, lett. f) GDPR
The Data Controller uses the "Google Analytics" service, provided by the data processor Google Ireland Inc., to obtain aggregate statistics regarding user visits to the Site.
This processing involves the use of cookies, which, however, only collect anonymous and aggregated data.
b) Response to requests – Art. 6 para. 1, letter b) GDPR
The Firm processes your personal data necessary to respond to any requests received from users, for example by writing to the email addresses on the Site or by contacting our LinkedIn page. It is not mandatory to provide your data for this purpose, but without it, it will not be possible to respond to your request.
To do this, the Data Controller processes your personal data provided by you, in addition to your first and last name and, if provided, your email address.
3. Categories of recipients of the processing
The collaborators of the Firm who may have access to your personal data have been specifically authorized and instructed for this purpose, and are also bound by confidentiality obligations by law and/or by contract.
For the purpose referred to in letter a), the Firm uses the company Google Ireland Inc., provider of the Google Analytics service.
Finally, the Data Controller communicates your data to parties to whom communication is mandatory or otherwise aimed at fulfilling legal obligations.
if you do not provide your data to the Firm, it will not be able to perform the services specified in the Assignment and/or the Contract.
4. Transfer of data abroad
The Firm does not intend to transfer your data outside the European Economic Area.
5. Data retention
The Data Controller retains your data for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes listed above. In particular, for the purposes under letter a), the data collected through Google Analytics – anonymous and aggregated in nature – are retained for 26 months.
6. Rights of the data subject
At any time you may exercise the rights recognized by the current legislation on the protection of personal data, by contacting the Data Controller at studio@basilavecchia.it.
In particular, the Firm guarantees your right to:
- obtain confirmation that your personal data is being processed by the Controller and, if so, receive a copy of such data and information relating to the processing (access);
- obtain the rectification of your inaccurate data and/or the integration of incomplete data (rectification);
- where applicable pursuant to Article 17 GDPR, obtain the erasure of your data (erasure);
- where applicable according to Article 18 GDPR, obtain the restriction of processing (restriction);
- in the cases under lett. b), to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format (portability).
If you believe that the processing carried out by the Data Controller is in violation of the current legislation, you may file a complaint with the Data Protection Authority (https://www.garanteprivacy.it). The complaint does not in any way affect your right to appeal to the competent administrative or judicial authority for the same reasons.
